Jalapeno Cheddar Turkey Burgers

These turkey burgers are juicy, flavorful, and they have a gentle kick!

The first couple of dinners this week, I way over spiced everything and we ended up throwing the leftovers away because we knew we wouldn’t eat them. But alas, on Thursday I finally nailed a good meal.

I mixed turkey with the perfect variety of spices that you probably already have, chopped jalapeno, and shredded mozzarella. They turned out so juicy and flavorful. I made three burgers out of 1 lb of turkey because we prefer bigger burgers, but you can definitely make four!

I served the burgers with air fried potatoes and some vegetables/dip. The meal was a hit! I probably won’t make burgers any other way.

Jalapeno Cheddar Turkey Burger

  • Servings: 3-4
  • Difficulty: easy

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb turkey
  • 1/2 jalapeno
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese
  • 1  tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • salt + pepper to taste
  • Oil/spray for pan

Instructions:

  1. Mix ground turkey with rest of the ingredients.
  2. Heat oil in a medium/large pan.
  3. Form 3-4 patties, and place in pan. Cover and cook. When almost done, uncover, carefully pour the juice out, and cook for a minute on each side to crisp up a bit.
  4. Put on a bun with all the fixins’ and devour.
